Welcome to the akt myspace page! This is the official myspace profile of akt, personally updated by the band members!

Bio:

It's just a short story: there was a goddamned weather when Lienhard and Thaler stood outside and spoke for two hours. Both of them agreed that Thaler’s idea of creating a new style of metal without guitars is great – as a result akt was founded in 2004 in Munich (Germany).
After many trials with different bass players they came to a fatal conclusion: All a bass player wants is to stand unobtrusively in a dark corner – as if he'd have a chance to be unimportant to the music...
So Thaler played also the bass on the first recordings. With SM's voice akt was nearly complete but unfortunately Lienhard left the band during the recordings of the second CD...
Well, Thaler will find new ways to live on with his project akt!
